Hello, and welcome to the page of Ms. Batiste! I am a deeply passionate language arts teacher. Academic success is vital in my classroom. I have a B.A. in Human Communication, English Concentration. I also have my M.A. in Education, Curriculum & Instruction. I was honored to win the 2008 Harden Teaching Excellence Award.
I love reading, writing, and of course teaching! For some odd reason, many people like teaching elementary or high school students rather than middle school students. However, I prefer middle school students because they are so fun, creative, and interesting! Middle school students rock! :o)
